This guide shows you how to connect your Claude account to GitHub. Integrating with GitHub gives Claude access to your repositories, allowing it to provide more context-aware assistance with your code. You will need your Claude and GitHub account credentials to complete the connection.
Click on your profile icon located at the bottom-left corner of the interface.
Select Settings from the menu that appears.

Navigate to the Connectors tab in the left-hand settings menu.
Find the GitHub row in the list of available connectors and click the Connect button.

You will be redirected to GitHub. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the connection and grant Claude the necessary permissions.
